MEET OUR TEAM
our History
JB Neale was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, where he is the proud third-generation homebuilder in his family. After graduating college, JB married his wife Heather and moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico to pursue a career as a carpenter specializing in crafting custom homes and remodels. One of their projects even became famous – the Imus Ranch was featured in Architectural Digest in December 2001!
In 2002, JB and Heather moved back to their native state of Texas and JB worked as a superintendent and area manager with a prominent local homebuilder. In 2011, JB decided to branch out on his own and founded J Byron Custom Homes – which has since become very successful. After dedicating eight years to hospital administration, Heather transitioned into overseeing the operational side of J Byron’s business, applying her extensive experience and skills to ensure seamless functioning.
The Neales have three adult children who are now out on their own and JB and Heather are enjoying the empty nester life! In their free time, they love to travel and spend time tending to their garden.
JB Neale has been building custom homes for 30 years. He began his career as a carpenter specializing in custom homes and remodels in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
